Please read the following before submitting a project application. CrossLink International's mission is to help equip medical mission teams with the medical resources they need to treat suffering people. Through our work, we seek to serve Jesus Christ by bringing hope and healing to the world's most needy people. CrossLink hopes that through this ministry both the givers and the receivers will develop a closer relationship with Him.
We assist medical mission teams and missionaries securing their specific needs. Rather than offering pre-packaged kits, CrossLink reviews requests for medicines, medical supplies/equipment, and eyeglasses, on a project-by-project basis. We try to understand the project's needs and provide resources and informational support as needed.CrossLink donates pharmaceuticals, supplies, and/or equipment according to project requirements and our available stock at the time of the request. CrossLink has purchase agreements that enable us to buy medicines that are not in our inventory at substantially reduced prices. Likewise CrossLink can purchase supply items. These are items that are frequently requested, but may not be available in the quantities needed. We will send you pricing information upon review of your request. For groups with limited or no funding, CrossLink may help cover the cost of purchased medicines depending on our funds and the project's situation. Glasses are provided free of charge through our relationship with the Lions Club Eyeglasses Recycling Center of Northern Virginia. CrossLink is licensed by the Virginia Board of Pharmacy as a pharmaceutical warehouser of medicines and does not handle or distribute narcotics or any scheduled drugs. Projects are assessed a handling fee as follows: Basic Project Request: $50 Pallet shipments (LTL): $150 Container shipments: $500 for 20 ft. CrossLink requires a pre-payment of 50% for purchased medicines and/or supplies. All shipping costs are charged to the recipient. We require 4-5 weeks advance notice for preparation of projects and 8 weeks for container shipments. Eyeglass requests require 6-8 weeks advance notice. |
